| CERVICAL SPONDYLITIS
& SPONDYLOSIS General condition information:
Cervical spondylitis can be caused by inflammation of one or more vertebrae. Sometimes this condition can be the cause of long-lasting pains, especially when no effort is made to treat the problem. It can also be the cause of very acute pains at the back of the head and in the arms, and even result in loss of feeling in the fingertips. Cervical spondylosis is a muscular condition. It is often described as degenerative changes in the intervertebral discs with peripheral ossification, or similarly as osteoarthritis of the spine. Cervical spondylosis often causes nerve root or spinal compression pains. This can be triggered off by a traumatic experience such as a whiplash injury, old fractures, muscle tension, or by a herniated disc or blood disease. Dietary advice Not appropriate
