Homœopathy
Homœopathy is a complete system of medicine
which aims to promote general health by reinforcing the body’s
own natural self-healing mechanism – it treats the person,
rather than the disease. It works by strengthening the immune
system so that the body effectively engages its own natural
self-healing mechanism avoiding side effects. Homœopathy can
be used in conjunction with other treatments, including conventional
medical treatments, where appropriate. A course of homœopathic
treatment can impact upon a very wide range of conditions, often
where previous treatments have been unable to help. When carried
out by a qualified practitioner, it can be safely used for all
age groups, from the tiny infant to the frail elderly person.
