Our high street shops have a long and established history as reliable and knowledgeable ports of call for all manner of health products and advice. To get a real feel of how our shops operate we thought you may like to hear from our staff in person.

 

The Clarence Drive shop is close to Hyndland Train Station. If you travel by car there are no parking costs.

We provide a professional service by well-trained, friendly staff who are happy to take the time to enable you to leave with the products most suitable for you.

We have a wide and varied selection of beauty products including the full Jason range and Dead Sea Magik and a good gift selection which includes a large range of Arran Aromatics and candles, also a small range of jewellery. We stock all of the Zambesia Botanica Products, and also Barefoot Botanicals S.O.S. and Rosa Fina Range, which have been specially developed for people who may be prone to eczema, psoriasis and dermatitis. We also stock environmentally friendly household goods by Ecover. Baby and child gentle products for skin and bath are also available.

In our supplement range we stock Jan de Vries’ own range along with Solgar, A. Vogel (Bioforce), Quest, Natures Aid, Better You and Solo – which can only be found in the Jan de Vries shops.

Jan de Vries regularly holds consultations in the shop and food intolerance/allergy testing takes place on a monthly basis.

Like the Old Curiosity Shop, we are packed with interesting items to care for your health and well-being. We pride ourselves on our friendly level of service and knowledge of the range of vitamins, minerals, herbal and homoeopathic remedies.

Together with a variety of herbal teas, spreads, grains, dried fruits, nuts and seeds, we stock a range of foods suitable for a wheat, gluten and dairy free diet.
