In her continued training she has gained further qualifications in Traditional Acupuncture and Cranial Osteopathy, completed courses in Medical Acupuncture and over the past three years specialised in the field of fertility, helping numerous couples conceive.
Payal gained experience in Liverpool working in sports injury clinics and also working abroad in New Zealand. She has written articles for the Liverpool Echo, Healthy Magazine and has been doing talks for the Parkinson’s Society, Ramblers Association and various Mother and Baby groups.
Payal is fascinated with the philosophies and principles upon which osteopathy, naturopathy and acupuncture are based. Looking at the patient holistically, the hands-on approach, and the good patient-practitioner relationship greatly appeal. Payal finds that one of the most interesting and challenging aspects of working as a holistic practitioner is that everybody is different. Therefore all patients receive bespoke treatment suited to their individual needs resulting in excellent improvement in symptoms.
Payal has worked with Jan de Vries Healthcare for over seven years and working closely with Jan de Vries in Troon has been very rewarding and a real privilege, as he has passed on his wealth of knowledge and experience from over 50 years of practice, thus helping Payal to treat patients. In everyday practice Payal treats everything from eczema to high blood pressure, and young babies to 18 stone professional rugby players!!
Payal is a member of the General Osteopathic Council, Sutherland Cranial College, the British Acupuncture Council, the British Medical Acupuncture Society and the British Naturopathic Association. Her treatments are also covered by BUPA, AXA/ PPP and all other major insurance companies.
