Ann Harty qualified in Acupuncture and Chinese medicine with the Acupuncture foundation of Ireland. She carried out two months clinical practice in Nanging University Hospital China in 1996. Since then she has studied and qualified in Tuina Massage which is a Chinese medhead massage for effect in sports injuries, frozen shoulders, back and neck problems.
Ann studied Iridology and naturopathy while living in Australia and on her return to Ireland she did further study in Iridology with the School of Medical Iridology in London. Ann has a great interest in Iridology and uses it daily in the clinic in Dublin. In conjunction with Iridology she gives diet and nutrition advice which proves very popular. She undertook a diploma in Diet and Nutrition with ITEC.
In 2002 Ann undertook Cranio Sacral Therapy with the upleger institute and to date she has partaken in CSTI CSTII and SPRI and Paediatric. This is another modality that she uses daily and she finds it very effective in treating nearly all ailments. This relies on the smooth flow of Cranio Sacral fluid around the spinal cord, brain and central nervous system, it provides a state of health and balance.
Recently, Anne has undertaken a qualification in Live Blood Analysing. This is performed by taking a small sample of fresh blood from a finger prick and analysing it under a microscope.
Ann is constantly undergoing CPD workshops and seminars and has a keen interest in complementary therapy. She has been practicing for the past 9-10 years.
In her spare time Ann loves to cook and is a supporter of fresh organic produce and is a firm believer that we are a product of what we ingest and she strives to make as many people aware of this as possible. Ann also believes in Thai Chi, a form of Chinese martial arts and yoga effective for elevating stress.
