Payal Patel BSc (Hons) OstMed.DN

Payal qualified from the British College of Naturopathy and Osteopathy in London gaining a Bachelor of Science in Osteopathic Medicine and diplomas in Naturopathy and Osteopathy. Payal has continued her training and additionally utilises Acupuncture and Cranial Osteopathy. She has gained experience in Liverpool working in sports injury clinics and has also worked abroad in New Zealand. Payal writes articles for the Liverpool Echo, Healthy Magazine and is shortly going to be doing talks for the Parkinson’s Society, Ramblers Association and various Mother and Baby groups. Furthermore she is commencing another three-year course in five-element acupuncture in London.

Payal is fascinated with the philosophies and principles upon which osteopathy, naturopathy and acupuncture are based. Looking at the patient holistically, the hands-on approach, and the good patient-practitioner relationship greatly appeal. Payal finds that one of the most interesting and challenging aspects of working as a holistic practitioner is that everybody is different. Therefore all patients receive bespoke treatment suited to their individual needs resulting in excellent improvement in symptoms.

Payal has worked with Jan de Vries Healthcare for over two years and working closely with Jan de Vries in Troon has been very rewarding and a real privilege, as he has passed on his wealth of knowledge and experience from over 40 years of practice, thus helping Payal to treat patients. In everyday practice Payal treats everything from eczema to high blood pressure, and young babies to 18 stone professional rugby players!!

To make appointments with Payal contact the Jan de Vries Clinics at Troon, Glasgow, Dublin or Framar (Associated)
